The Lone Star Loom Room is a weaving shop and teaching studio. We teach classes in weaving, spinning and dyeing. We also sell equipment, tools, books and yarn. We carry the full line of Bockens of Sweden fine cottons, linens and cottolin. Giovanna Imperia Designs is in the same building as Lone Star Loom Room. Giovanna teaches classes and has supplies for Kumihimo (Japanese braiding), beading and wire weaving. |

Just arrived - Schact's Ladybug spinning wheel, it is too cute! We also received AVL's warping wheel, for sectional warping. Come check them out! Our new Summer and Fall class schedule is now on-line. I finally figured out how to do a PDF file! We've got lots of exciting things coming up - Tapestry class with Gerry Woodhouse, Spin In and Open House(July 12th), Beginners classes, Beginners II class! We have received a new bamboo yarn, Xie from Southwest Trading Company. It is a 10/2 with a tighter twist than the Bambu 7 and 12 we previously had. There are 38 colors and they come on handy 100 gram cones (3.5 ounce/920 yds)for $15.00 each. We are now carrying Merino Skin Care products from New Zealand! I have used these products for 10 years and they are wonderful! I have samples if you'd like me to send you one, just ask. Our book list is now updated. We've expanded our selection of books, more in Spinning, Felt Making and Dyeing. New books - Handweaver's Pattern Directory and Start Spinning. Books are 10% off list price every day! VAV Magazine - we handle subscriptions for VAV. The magazine now prints an English version! We also have back issues from 2004, 2005 (English Supplement) and 2006 in English. Back issues are $14.00.
